Experienced Coach Workshop 14-16 September 2010

An Experienced Coach Workshop is an intensive three day course - being held from 14-16 September 2010.

It provides the chance for experienced and active coaches who do not hold EA accreditation, or are accredited with another organisation, the chance to “fast track” into the EA National Coaching Accreditation System.

The criteria for an "Experience Coach" are as follows

1. to have been regularly coaching for 10 years (from/after their 18^th birthday), specifically that they

have produced five (5) riders who are or have competed at the following standards (or the equivalent thereof):

General coaches – at a minimum

Novice Dressage with scores over 55%
Cross Country to 80cm
Jumping height classes of 90cm

Dressage – at a minimum

Elementary Dressage

2. can / have met the competencies of the Level One Riding and Horse Management certificates requirements. (see link below)

Tto apply to attend an Experienced Coach workshop candidates must provide evidence that they have met the above mentioned.

Evidence = competition results, video footage, detailed reference from EA Official/Coach etc.

Please note that:·

Attendees must meet the criteria/pre-requisites to apply to attend the workshop
Attendees must complete and submit some components prior to attendance
Please note that attendance at the Experienced Coach Workshop is no guarantee of attaining EA NCAS Coach Accreditation
Candidates must be able to demonstrate competency throughout the course according to the EA NCAS Coach Competency standards (conditional on accreditation level)
the course fees are $650 which covers Course Materials/Workbooks, training and assessment, lunch and morning/afternoon teas
Candidates are responsible to organise their own transport, accommodation and evening meals
